What if you could get whatever you want with the snap of your fingers?

Would you do it?

Of course you would. Who wouldn't?

So say this was possible then what? What do you do once you have everything you want? Do you live complacently and frolic among all your valuable belongings and new acclaimed status? Or do you begin your search for what's missing in your life?

In a world that just keeps getting faster it seems like there is more to do and less time to do it in. That's why social media is so addicting. You're able to put something out and get an immediate reaction. Think about the people who get upset if you don't answer a text fast enough. People want things quicker but quicker isn't always better.

What makes success feel so good is not the end result but rather the things you overcame to achieve it. To battle through negativity, struggles, and whatever else is in your way to achieve a goal is what creates the feeling of achievement.

A life without fighting those battle is an empty life if you ask me. Those battles are the moments that shape your character. Those are the experiences that show you that anything is possible if you put your mind to it. To overcome is to believe. There's a reason everyone loves the underdog story. People love rooting for the people who seem to have no chance because if they overcome the odds as big as they are, the reward is that much sweeter and means that much more. People can relate to that.

We're all dealing with our own battles but we shouldn't look at them as problems. These battles are there for a reason. They're put in front of us to test us and to push us to fight so we can grow. In each battle is a life lesson that we need to experience. The struggle you're in today is giving you the strength you need for tomorrow. As long as you're fighting through it, you will overcome it. If you don't, you won't.

What people are really looking for is validation. But if your sense of worth depends on the opinion of others, who are you living for? No one is going to fight your battles for you. So its up to you and only you to feel gratified.
